What: Kaboom Town 2016

When: Sunday, July 3 – 5-11:30 p.m.; fireworks start at about 9:30 p.m.

Where: Addison Circle Park

Cost: Free!

This annual mega event features a 30-minute fireworks show choreographed to music and a live radio simulcast on 100.3 JACK FM and TXA 21. Great food, live music on the Dos Equis Stage, and an air show featuring the Cavanaugh Flight Museum’s vintage historic WWII Warbird Flyover. Rated one of the top places to watch fireworks in the country by USA Today, Travel + Leisure, The Wall Street Journal and the American Pyrotechnics Association.



What: Bluffview Fourth of July Parade 2016

When: Monday, July 4 – 9:45-10:30 a.m.

Where: 4811 Bluffview Boulevard Dallas, TX 75209

Cost: Free

The parade proceeds south on Bluffview, right on Catawba, right on Wildwood, and left on Bluffview back to the finish and disperse. It will require no street closures. 



What: Dallas’ Fair Park Fourth 2016

When: Monday, July 4 – 6 a.m.-10 p.m.; fireworks start at 9:45 p.m.

Where: Fair Park, Dallas, TX

Cost: Free

The city of Dallas, Friends of Fair Park, and WFAA-TV Channel 8 invite you to celebrate America’s birth at the City of Dallas’ official Independence Day celebration, Fair Park Fourth. The 2016 Fair Park Fourth celebration starts with the Dallas 7/4 race in the morning and finishes with Dallas’ official fireworks display at night.

What: Denton’s Kiwanis Fireworks Show 2016

When: Monday, July 4 – 6-8 p.m.

Where: Apogee Stadium, UNT

Cost: Free
It’s Denton County’s most spectacular night, and has been for over forty years! UNT’s beautiful new Apogee Stadium is the place for live music, followed by an awesome array of fireworks that light up the sky. The event is FREE, but donations are gladly accepted by our energetic “Bucket Brigade” before, during, and after the show.

What: Independence Fest 2016, Presented by Market Street

When: Monday, July 4

Cost: Free
Headlined by Loverboy, Independence Fest 2016 will continue to build on the success of previous years to be a great day of celebration, and as always, admission and parking are free! A full day of activities begins with the annual Children’s Parade at the LISD School Administration Building, 1800 Timber Creek Road, and concludes with a fantastic fireworks finale at around 9:50 p.m.


What: Fort Worth Fourth 2016

When: Saturday, July 4 – 2 p.m.-midnight; fireworks start at 10 p.m.

Where: Panther Island Pavilion, 395 Purcey Street, Fort Worth, TX 76102
Cost: Free!

Enjoy pony rides, face painting, tubing, bounce houses, miniature golf, zip lines, water slides, live music, food and fireworks! Kidzone will be open from 2-8 p.m. Pony rides between 3:30-6:30 p.m.

What: Frisco Freedom Fest 2016

When: Sunday, July 3, 6-11 p.m.

Where: Purefoy Municipal Center and Toyota Stadium

Cost: Free

Children and families will head straight for the Children’s Expo. The Children’s Expo features a rock climbing wall and bounce house inflatables. The plaza party includes a Community Stage, featuring local entertainers, and Hometown Hero Exhibit, showcasing our police and fire departments. The Taste of Frisco returns with Frisco restaurants serving some of their most popular menu items.



What: Grapevine’s Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration

When: Monday, July 4 – 9:30 p.m.

Where: Lake Grapevine

Cost: Free

Be prepared to be astonished by the fireworks spectacular, which can be viewed from any lakeside location as well as several other spots throughout Grapevine. Admission is free at most viewing locations. Some parks along Lake Grapevine may charge a minimal admission fee. Related events begin July 1.



What: Park Cities Fourth of July Parade 2016

When: Monday, July 4 – 9 a.m.

Where: Goar Park in University Park

Cost: Free! 

Honor America and celebrate with the community at the annual 4th of July Parade. The parade will begin at 9 a.m. on Euclid Avenue near Highland Park Town Hall and end at Goar Park in University Park. The Goar Park festivities start around 9:30 a.m. with a patriotic family festival featuring music, food, and plenty of entertainment for children of all ages. Click here for parade route.


What: Lakewood Fourth of July Parade 2016: Lakewood Honors Heroes

When: Monday, July 4 – 10 a.m.

Where: Lakewood Boulevard and Cambria

Cost: Free

The parade starts at 10 a.m. at the intersection of Lakewood Boulevard and Cambria. Participants typically begin lining up around 9 a.m. Registration is not required. Just pick up a numbered plate at the starting point. Refreshments, music and awards will be served after the parade. First-, second- and third-place medals will be awarded.



What: McKinney’s Red, White & BOOM!

When: Monday, July 4 – 10 a.m.; fireworks start at 9:45 p.m.

Where: Historic Downtown McKinney (parade and car show) | McKinney Soccer Complex at Craig Ranch (evening activities and fireworks)

Cost: Free

Red, White & BOOM! kicks off Independence Day with a parade and classic car, truck and cycle show in Historic Downtown McKinney. Families can also explore the many dining and shopping options that downtown has to offer. Evening festivities resume at the McKinney Soccer Complex at Craig Ranch with music, food, kids’ activities and a fireworks display. 



What: Plano’s All-American Fourth Fireworks Show 2016

When: Monday, July 4 – 9:30 p.m.

Where: Oak Point Park & Nature Preserve, 2801 E. Spring Creek Pkwy Plano, TX 75074
Cost: Free

Bring your blankets, lawn chairs and the whole family to help celebrate Independence Day 2016 at Plano’s All-American Fourth! Spectacular fireworks can be seen as the show is choreographed to music and simulcast on 97.5 KLAK.

What: Stars & Stripes 2016

When: Sunday, July 3 – 6 p.m.; fireworks start at 9:30 p.m.

Where: Frank Cornish IV Park, McPherson Park, Rustin Pavilion

Cost: Free

The Southlake Community Band will kick off the evening with patriotic music in Family Park at 6 p.m. followed by an uplifting patriotic ceremony. The 1943 Douglas A-26 Invader bomber plane will also make an overhead appearance during the ceremony! Relax and enjoy the rest of the evening with music and activities for all ages, including crafts, games and inflatables for the kids. Attendees will enjoy concessions to entertain all taste buds.
